Bilbo surf shop is located on Cliff Road, opposite
Newquay train station overlooking the towns main beaches.
The name Bilbo plays an important role in the history of
British surfing as it was the first and original surf shop in
Europe back in 1965! |

Nowadays the store comprises 1500 square feet of surf
products with dedicated surfboard wetsuit and clothing areas packed
with the latest products.

The surfboard area includes NSP epoxy boards for developing ones
early surfing skills and custom boards by Rusty and Town and
Country. However the core product is the current range of British
made Bilbo boards, handcrafted by shaper Matt Adams at his brand new
facility near Newquay.
From twins to thrusters to quads, we have a comprehensive and
contemporary range based on a name with a true heritage and appeal
over the years.

Wetsuits are offered by Alder, Rhino and O’Neil international. All
suits are fully guaranteed and expertly fitted by our experienced
sales team. We cover all sizes and all seasons plus of course the
relevant accessories as well. Surf fashion wear is offered by
Quicksilver, Roxy, Animal, Element and Salt Rock. Together with a
host of footwear, eyewear and skate goods the modern Bilbo offers a
fine selection for every requirement.
